Born in 1993 in Schenectady, NY, moved to Winter Haven, FL in 2003 and then to Aurora, CO in 2008 where I now live.

Veganisum,
In may of 2009 I stumbled upon Meat.org And was disgusted at how our animals are treated, and then decided I was going to do my part to end it, I turned vegan, and was opened to the world of cooking, I was hooked, I loved being able to take a few simple (not to mention humane) ingredients into something totally delicious, I read everything pertaining to being vegan I could get my hands on, I read cookbooks like they were novels; One series in particular are the cookbooks by Isa Chandra Moskowitz & Terry Hope Romero. Some of my favorite recipes consist of Chocolate Peanut Butter Tofu Pie and Scrambled Tofu from Vegan With a Vengeance. And, well, I have been cooking to my heart's (and stomach's) desire ever since.

Skateboarding,
I have been skateboarding on and off since I was about 14, but in 2010 I got serious about longboarding, I did a ton of research; I searched silverfishlongboarding.com endlessly, and, I just went outside and skated, as much as I could. My family never had allot of money so I learned quite young that if I wanted something I had to work for it; So I started with refurbishing old boards, then I built a board press and designed my own boards. There is great and well deserved pride about being able to show off something you have put your heart and soul into.
